"Curruptor Pupper"

Films: Devil Dog-The Hound of Hell (1978)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted home/Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of an average german shepard.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: This decade has NOT been kind to our canine friends. To cap it off, here’s the poor man's demonic beast. It's a Satanist's pooch, so what can you expect.

History: A Satanist took up dog breeding one day in the hope of bringing forth demon dogs upon the world. He did this by breeding them during dark Sabbaths. One German Shepard gets adopted, and naturally, starts wreaking havoc with its demonic powers.

Notable Kills: Mind controls the maid into setting herself on fire.

Final Fate: The man who adopted the Devil Dog eventually confronts its true demonic form at a power plant, where he shoves a holy symbol into its face, causing it to be imprisoned for the next ten centuries. However, it's made apparent that the dog was only one in a litter...

Powers/Abilities: Can manipulate minds into heinous acts of evil and/or self-mutilation, immune to normal weaponry.

Weakness: Cannot be killed, but imprisoned by holy objects.

Scariness Factor: 2-Despite fearsome powers, this dog is either too cute or too badly rendered into the movie to be taken seriously. It doesn't do much in the finale other than bark and bare its fangs due to being a stagnant special effect.

Trivia: -Hellhounds are a common occurrence in mythology. Recurring features include black fur, fiery eyes, and a horrible odor.

-While most Hellhounds are depicted as being vicious, the Cwn Annwn of Welsh folklore stands out as being rather benign, even if it is an omen of impending death.

Just as manic as in the film.

The 'Old Yeller' remake took a dark turn real fast.

They always start out so innocent and harmless.
Do tigers have anything to do with hounds, as depicted here?

Some dogs just want to watch the world burn.

"BEHOLD! TERRIBLE BLUE SCREEN EFFECTS!"
